| Unaccustomed as they are to wrung-out remix 12"s, with Stagga's 'Sick As Sin' smacking speakers everywhere this summer, Rag & Bone present the Ultra VIP rework that smacks even more. Carefully staying true to the original and not interfering with its initial blast, this version tweaks just enough to recapture and reload that moment when the tune first dropped and demanded endless rewinds. On the flipside are two utterly brand new bangers that each provide prime time ammunition in their own right. 'Face Gets Splat' is a grime driven number which embodies trademark Stagga production with the lyrical talents of Y Dot Tzer J Bone getting into a metaphorical battle with other MCs, while 'Tha Criss Gurge Supply' pitches down a little with a haunting swagger all of it's own, coming on like more of a deep rolla for the fully dubstep intoxicated. |
