Escape EP

Following on from the Afro-funky business of the first release "Motherland" / "Shrunken Head" [PSM001] by newcomer Psyah, fledgling imprint Phuture Shock Musik return with an exciting 3 track EP entitled 'Escape' from their latest discovery OPR8.

Having already built a name for himself within Bristol's local Dubstep circuit under the guise of Sickman D, Bristol-based producer/DJ Dave Cotgrave makes his debut appearance on Phuture Shock Musik, and a first official outing as OPR8 - a brand new side project. Often deep and dubby but defying specific genres, OPR8's sound across the 3 tracks on this EP explores a veritable hybrid of UK Funky, House, Dubstep and Techno to produce some inventive results that are aimed straight for the dancefloor , and is sure to appeal to those who favour a wide scope of Bass music.
