The big boys return!! Bar 9 are back with 3 more smashers for the racks, this is in a slightly different style to their usual stuff, exploring the deeper side of things.
After a bit of a break Bar 9 are back and boy have delivered this time! Both tracks utilise Bar 9's rougher than rough production style and are sure to move the floors wherever they get dropped!
Rob returns with another pair of slick, bass-laden rollers, this guy is on fire right now, with his album riding high in the dubstep album charts 2010 is sure to be a big year for the leicester based producer.
Get ready for some explosive, main room bizzle from the boys that are about to blow, Vent!! When we heard "Flava" we thought ANTHEM!! we were hooked from the drop. We were most impressed with how well the tune switches up into variations of the original groove but never sways to much either. That is a sign of great production in our ears and the quality really shines through. "Something else" is a perfect flip with more of a dubby, half steppy vibe to it. No lesser of a track at all and some of the staff prefer this one to "Flava".
Riskotheque - After the success of audio freaks five (Just You & Dream State) Riskotheque is back with another sonic assault on the senses! With growling synth leads and epic beats this is a must have release!
Quantum soul - On the other side of another top quality Quantum Soul release.
Bar 9 - Tear out Dubstep superstars Bar 9 are back with another bass heavy cut of pure dirtiness for your listening pleasure!
Hektagon - The mighty Hektagon keeps things techy on the flip with "finders keepers", another electro inspired belter from the cheeky Spaniard!
This young talented duo is showing us how the heavier side of Dubstep should be done! You can really hear from their productions that they know their way around the studio and when you play some of Genetix tunes on a big system, make sure you put up some health hazard signs! Death by subs is a high possibility. Okay, on to the tunes! "Hangin'" is just one of those tunes to watch out for. It will blow your chest up with bass, make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and possibly wet yourself with excitement. That's only if you're lucky though. Then we have "Trigger Happy" featuring Persist whose name I seem to be coming across quite a bit at the moment. This tune is great and can't really choose between this and "Hangin'". Both are insane! Then last but not least is "Sci Tech" which is on the deeper side. Great tune and a nice way to round off this great EP!
One of the biggest tracks from robs debut album "Trooper" is here as a single, this track really does hit all the right buttons, with a stonker of a remix from none other than the mighty Bar 9 this one is gonna be big!
