Title:Strike Up The Band
Label:Jack To Phono
Tombee is back with his 4th release on Jack to Phono with Strike Up The Band. Hailing from Newcastle (home of the Brown) DJ, producer and film-maker Tombee often describes his sound as Folk-Hop. The definition of Folk music, if you look it up, is music handed down from generation to generation, which when considering the beats interwoven and flipped here, kinda makes sense...

This time Tombee teams up with Mr Konfuze & Lunatic, Tom Eno and Winter North Atlantic to create one eclectic download and remix package! From a dancefloor friendly party vibe to the ambiance of Winter North Atlantic.

Title:Hear The Difference
Label:Jack To Phono
Jack to Phono has for it's nineteenth vinyl release has been rewarded by it's fantastic scouting network. We received a call from our Latin American scout from a dusty cellar full of 2nd hand vinyl somewhere in downtown Buenos Aires. Cries of "Argentina" , "Argentina" were heard down a crackly mobile and the words. "DR STEREO!" This boy can certainly play , the funky beats, the percussion, the jazzy breaks over the half way line, we had to sign him up to team Jack to Phono! "Hear the Difference is psychedelic piece of hipshakin soul fuelled with tones of stereophonic sounds!" Dr Stereo AKA Ezequiel Lodeiro has been a DJ since 1990. He runs the infamous Soulfood clubnight and now has his debut single on London's Jack to Phono records. Spreading the jazzy/funky/latin/soul/electronic vibe since mid 90s in Buenos Aires. He has produced his own parties and sharing decks with the likes of Jazzanova, Kid loco and Frankie Valentine, opening the doors to these sounds in Argentinas clubs scene. "Hear the difference" is coming soon to a record store near you. On the flip Newcastle's beatsmith TOMBEE remixes the original with his very own style of bleeps and beats. Showing the "toon army" how to mix UK style with latin flair and fresh from the success of his single Godfathers. There is an exclusive remix on our download package from Winchester's own winchesters own green fingered guitar bandito TOM ENO!

Title:Godfathers
Label:Jack To Phono
Tombee serves up his third dish on Jack to Phono Records! Godfathers follows on from Sticky Rhythm but with more of a hip hop vibe. The Cheeky Newcastle based producer has an ear for delivering the knockout dancefloor hook. Tombee has been a busy boy since his last single on JTP. He's been remixing for the likes of The Seal Cub Clubbing, Pulp Fusion and Doctor Stereo. He's also has a track included on the DJ's choice compilation and rumours of another. Indeed he's also been designing trainers for the likes of Lack of Afro. He's also working with new producers such as Vital Substance and Winter North Atlantic. "It's nice to have been able to help people out and also nice to get back the results, that are very varied but all pretty cool in their own way." You see Tombee has many strings to his bow... Back to the release! On the flip we have a rather special appearance from Brighton's own Black Grass. Tombee's reaction is one of a kid in a sweet shop! "Black grass - just awesome... I couldn't believe it when they agreed to remix it, I just love their tune Nice up. When I heard what they'd done it was mixed emotions. It was a case of that's amazing!!! I couldn't of hoped for anything better - and then - oh no! My mix is never gonna get played now. I seriously love what they done with it"
