The young Russian producer, DaVIP, has recently caused a huge stir with his DnB debut "Vamonos" on Lifted Music's sister label Breed, and now the 19 year old wunderkind DaVip brings the next Hardcore Beats installment to your ears courtesy of these two storming, speaker-shredding rippers!
"Ignition" kicks off with massive guitar chords and rhythm section leading into a breaks and bassline assault. Incendiary by name, this is total stadium mayhem which is best enjoyed at high volume. Pull up my selektar!
The flip "Level Up" continues the carnage with a siren lead, bass contortions, choppy drum edits and a whole heap of fun switches and turns. DaVip exhibits slick control, total mastery of his craft and an innate ability to throw down brilliant party music. Blam!
For remix duties we brought in London-based duo and Dubstep technicians Bare Noize. With releases under their belt on Z-Audio and Audio Phreaks, they've been garnering heavyweight support from the likes of Annie Nightingale, Jay Cunning and DC Breaks with their hard-hitting tracks and their remix of "Ignition" is no exception.
Conveying deep atmosphere with a cinematic feel to set the scene, the resulting drop into bass drones, guitar stabs and reese bass will set floors alight with its buzzy, low-slung syncopation and dramatic edits. Largeness.
