THIS ALBUM IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON CD! Drawbar is a quirky funk project from the south coast town of Hastings. Consisting of Simon Ham (bass, vocals & production) and Jo Brooks (hammond organ & various keyboards), alongside a select collective of musicians, vocalists and a scratch dj. Heavily influenced by library and soundtrack composers of the 60's & 70's, and the classic soul/jazz combos of that era, Drawbar adopt a modernist approach to this tradition. Combining vintage sounds & instrumentation with samples and top notch production into a genre defying melange of musical styles. From hip hop, funk and jazz to soundtracks,exotica and beyond.
